Olle Kaidro
I'm an Estonian photographer whose work and travels have taken me across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. For many years, my professional life in international humanitarian work has given me the opportunity to experience places far beyond the usual travel routes. Photography became a way to observe and remember the world around me. My photographs focus on people, places, landscapes and everyday moments. What interests me is the character of a place and the small details that make it distinct. This website is a collection of those moments, seen through my eyes.
How I work
I shoot on Sony full frame, from wide primes to long telephoto, plus a compact Ricoh for street work. My kit covers everything from low light and portraits to distant wildlife. My images usually favour sharp detail with warm, vivid colour rather than a strong vintage or retro look.
